No matter the degree you want to acquire, the university has got an international student scholarship for you.
UNDERGRADUATE/ POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
There are undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships for students in the following regions; Africa, Bangladesh, Central Asia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South and Central America, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Benefits
This type of scholarship covers 20% of your tuition fee for the entire period it will take to complete your course. Note that the amount will not be given to the applicant. However, it reduces the total fees an applicant will pay
Eligibility
For one to be eligible for the Sydney International Award, they should take note of the following;
- Be an international student
- Shouldn’t be a citizen of Australia, New Zealand or a permanent resident of Australia.
- Must have gained admission into the university
- The student should indeed be a citizen of the country they claim to be coming from
- Undergraduates and master’s degree students are eligible
- MBA, EMBA, distance courses, etc. are not qualified for these scholarships

POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships
These are scholarships available to brilliant international students to study a course in the university. Beneficiaries of these scholarships could be given scholarships worth about $40,000.
NB: selection of students for this scholarship does not depend on applications. It offers this scholarship spontaneously to brilliant students who have gained admission into the university.
Eligibility
- Must be an international student
- Has been offered admission into the university
- Must have applied for a CRICOS registered course
Benefits
Benefits may be in the form of any of these;
- An amount of $5,000 to be paid for one semester
- An amount of $10,000 to be paid for one semester
- $20,000 to be paid for one semester
- An amount of $40,000 to be paid for one year but in two instalments ($20,000 per semester)

POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
- Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS)
Eligibility: must be from countries in Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.
Benefits: Benefits of the Australian Awards Scholarship include full tuition fees of scholars, cost of the flight, allowances for textbooks, accommodation, living expenses, etc.
Application Deadline: applications open in early February and ends in late April.

- HDR Completion Scholarships
Eligibility: must be a Higher Degree by Research student and be able to submit the thesis within 6 months of applying, etc.
Benefits: allowance worth $7,000 for three months plus tuition fee for a single research period.
