- ACU offers flexible study programs regardless of the stage in your life. You are given the possibility to fit your studies around other demands on your time. Full-time study is usually four units per semester. You are still considered a full-time student even if you have enrolled in just three units per semester. The part-time study load is usually two units per semester or four units per year. In cases where you start a degree program as a full-time student, you can drop to being a part-time student at any point during the course.
- It is the top 26th university globally for exercising science, top 50th for nursing homes, and top 75th for education.

- Gain work experience. While in school, there are hundreds of students’ jobs on campus, with fantastic pay and working conditions. Students uniquely finish their university studies. This helps them to start building work experience though still in school and equally develop their future careers.
- ACU impacts students to inspire others through empathy. This is attained using three core curriculum study units that teach you how to look at the world with empathy, challenge stereotypes, and have the courage to impact. Students are guided and leave school with a different way of seeing the world that instils compassion and social justice at the centre of their learning. This core curriculum program sets ACU apart.
- ACU offers onshore and offshore study units. Onshore units are given at an ACU campus or another location inside Australia. When you study in this manner, you can connect directly with fellow students and also have contact with the teaching staff one on one or through video conferencing.
- Offshore units are offered at locations out of the country. You can study some units at the campus in Rome or Beijing.
- ACU also offers online studies. This study method helps students to complete a course exclusively online, including all the assessments. Students who face the challenges of reaching one of the campuses or need to suit their course program around a full-time job raising children have often used the online study method.
