Located in Vanderbijlpark, the Vaal University of Technology is a tertiary institution within South Africa. And, for ease of access to all applicants, they have both traditional hardcopy applications and online applications available.
First, here is how to apply offline…
- Download the application form from their website, www.vut.ac.zaFrom here; you can click on the ‘Students’ tab.
- Then, visit the ‘Registrations’ page. This tab is located on the right-hand side of the page.
- Now, you can download the application form. Ensure that you fill out the form in its entirety and include all of the supporting documents

- Here, you will find the tab for online applications. Click on this, and fill out the required fields with all of the necessary and true information.
- Ensure that you include all of the supporting documents so that they are clear and legible
- Submit your application!

Please note: There is an application fee of R100. However, late applications are subject to an increased fee of R140. It is important to note that their website does state that application fees can possibly change from year to year, so it is in your best interest to check their website for any fee changes. - South African students are required to have an ID Document
- International students must have a passport of which they can submit the number
